Go Belgique

I lived in Brussels for three-and-a-half years. We moved here during covid while I was a new father, so it put a damper on the party side of things. My accordion gained a layer of dust, but that didn't keep us from getting the car dirty and exploring Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and bits of Germany (which have their own pages, obviously). But where my Czechia material might be a bit of a mixed between historic and barfly... well, so does my Belgium material. Check out my audio tours and blogs all below.

Audio Guides

Don't know where to start with this crazy town? Want to get yourself situated properly in the European Quarters? Interested in seeing something other than the old town? I've got two great audio tours for you. The tours use the VoiceMap on your phone, and you can plug in your earphone and forget about it as I explain to you the history of the buildings and give you all the directions you need.

European Quarters

I lived in the European Quarters for three years and got to know all about it. From blood money fountains to overpriced parks and all the EU action you can handle in one go.

Upper Town

Discover the castle neighborhood and find out how it completely transformed from a Baroque paradise to a neo-classical government street. Learn about kitchen fires, nuclear bombs, and more!
